Regional Logistics Cluster Strategy for Sri Lanka

We have recently stated working on this assignment to develop a strategy for Sri Lanka to develop as a logistics hub for the Indian Sub Continent. The strategy is considering the various elements of the cluster:
• The Port of Colombo, slated for major development in the near future, interconnected with …
• Colombo airport for which there are also development plans
• Freeport land to service the value added activities that can be generated around these.
• The “oil” of information and financial flows that make regional supply chains function.
In the long term, the aim is for the Logistics Cluster to form on of the pillars of the Sri Lankan economy.
