Maritime Sector Strategy, NW England
On behalf of the North West Development Agency, we were appointed in association with Ci Research in 2002 to map the maritime sector including maritime logistics, marine and offshore engineering, fishing and marine leisure, then develop a sector development strategy and action plan.
We were subsequently retained by the Agency to advise on various maritime issues. This involved the implementation of the strategy through the delivery of a launch event, and then facilitating setting up a number of industry led groups to develop individual action plans (through to 2005).
